As A seller

How do I get started? You want to start selling? Make sure you have a PayPal account and go ahead and sign up by clicking My Account, fill in your profile/account details. Now you can start uploading items, selling them and start making money in a matter of minutes

How much does it cost? Setting up a store at CrepPlug and posting items is completely FREE! We we want you to succeed as much as we do. Only when you sell something we take a (6%) transaction fee. We both win. There are no set up fees, no listing fees and no monthly fees.

How many items can I upload? There is no limit at all and you are allowed to upload how many items you want.

Do I need a PayPal account? Yes. PayPal is the way you get paid! PayPal enables eCommerce around the world o work by making payments possible across different locations and between different people. With 153 million people using PayPal to buy things online, it has become the global standard. It is quick and easy to make a PayPal account and can be done in a matter of seconds. Please beware that PayPal also remove a “Goods and Services” Fee after you are paid for the item you sold, just like what happens when you sell something on eBay if you’ve used it before.

How does billing work? Instant Billing via PayPal, CrepPlug commission will be collected at checkout instantly after each sale.

Who controls my store? You and only you. CrepPlug will give you the tools to edit your store so can build on your passion. You add your items and we’ll help you promote them. Every seller on our website benefits from being viewed by a large number of visitors

What is a shop description? This is where you advertise your store and tell people what you sell. You can write a “welcome to my store” message for example, outline your shipping, return, exchange, payment and other policies you want to set for your store. These will apply to all of the items you sell.

What is my seller info? This is where you advertise yourself and tell people what you’re about

How do I refund or cancel an order? Log into your PayPal account, open the transaction that you want to refund. On the transaction page, there will be a “Refund” button which will refund the payment to the buyer. Once the refund is completed and you give us a notice. CrepPlug will cancel the order and get rid of any fees associated with the transaction. To cancel an order please contact the seller and discuss with them as it is your responsibility once you pay.

How do I delete my CrepPlug account? Just head over to your profile, go across to settings and then click delete my account. All your account details, information and posts will be deleted.

Where is my money? Make sure you have added your PayPal account to your store settings otherwise you won’t get your money!

How can I connect a new PayPal account? Simply just go to your store settings and change the PayPal address

How do I delete an item I have posted? Go to the sell tab in the menu, click edit products go ahead and put the item you want to delete in the trash!

Can I have more than one CrepPlug account? No unfortunately for safety purposes only one CrepPlug account is allowed per person.

Why has my account been suspended? This may have been because you have violated our Terms of Service, please check them out.

Why do my items not show up in categories? Go to edit your item(s) and on the right-hand side there is a box which says Product Categories, there is where you can pick the appropriate category for your item.

Why was my item removed? This may have been because you have violated our Terms of Service, please check them out.

What is prohibited to sell on CrepPlug? Any illegal substance or item in the UK and any item which has no direct link to footwear.

How does shipping work? You as a seller are responsible for the shipping of your item, meaning you have to buy the correct packaging, write the correct shipping address for the buyer and post it preferably at your local post office.

  1. Package your item – Place your item in a box or shipping envelope, available at office supply stores or the post office. To ensure that everything arrives in one clean piece, pack your item(s) well with bubble wrap, newspaper and/or tissue paper. Including a thank you note, business card, or any other appropriate personal touches is also a nice way to show your buyer that you appreciate their business and encourages them to shop with you again!
  2. Keep your buyer informed – Send your buyer a private message thanking them for their business and letting them know when you plan to ship as well as the estimated delivery time. This gets rid of confusion on your buyer’s end about the parcel’s whereabouts and increases the chances of you receiving 5-star feedback.
  3. Ship ASAP using tracked delivery – We recommend you use tracked shipping whenever possible to make everyone’s life easier, as untracked parcels aren’t protected under our Seller Protection policy and you are responsible for whatever happens during the delivery stage of the sale. Tracking numbers aren’t always free, so remember to take that price into consideration when setting your shipping price. Take your item to the nearest post office or shipping provider with your buyer’s address and ship it!
  4. Follow-up with your buyer – Message your buyer again, this time to let them know that you’ve shipped their item and supply them with a tracking number.

As A Buyer

I am no longer able to contact the user or they are not replying? Please be patient, if it is urgent email us ASAP at support@crepplug.com

How do shipping, payments and returns work? Each store should have its own information about the sellers shipping, payment and returns policy. If you feel as though they are out of line or unreasonable just contact us ASAP. If you have minor enquiries then please contact the seller before making the purchase so there is no confusion, do not risk it.

I haven’t received my item what do I do? Once again be patient, contact the seller and if they have not replied to you within 7 days of purchase please contact us.

I don’t have a PayPal account, can I pay by card? You can pay by card via PayPal and create a new account in minutes, once you buy the item the money goes straight to the sellers PayPal account.

How can I buy safely? Make sure you look at the sellers profile, information and carefully look at the item before purchasing it.

I received an item that doesn’t match the listing description what should I do? Contact the seller regarding returns, we will try our best to help you.

I received the correct item, but I changed my mind and don’t want it anymore? There is not much you can do, if the seller is open to a return then message him and sort it out. If not you can always repost it on our website on your account.

I have received my item but it was delayed what should I do? If it is significantly late then we suggest you leave a comment/review regarding this.

I contacted the seller. What happens now? Be patient and wait for their reply.

The seller has asked me to return my item what should I do? Message them asking why if there is a problem then contact us ASAP.

The seller resolved my issue what should I do? Feel free to leave them a great review!

How do I delete my CrepPlug account? Just head over to your profile, go across to settings and then click delete my account. All your account details, information and posts will be deleted.

How much does it cost? You pay however much the item was listed for aswell as the delivery payment, once you get through to PayPal Payment, it will show that you are sending 10% to CrepPlug, DON’T BE SCARED, that is the sellers commission which they pay for every item they sell its just coming straight from you rather than all the money going to them first and them then paying us after.

What if something goes wrong? Be confident in using CrepPlug we use PayPal payments for all transactions within our marketplace
